The Ross School Tennis Academy (RSTA) offers a dynamic program for student-athletes that combines an engaging, global curriculum with the highest level of competitive tennis training available. An information session will be held January 18 from 6:00-8:00 pm at the Crosby Street Hotel in New York City.
Designed for students in grades 7–12 and post graduates, the Academy is the first in the New York City area to offer a full academic program with a complete physical and mental conditioning program.
Located on the campus of Ross School in East Hampton, the state-of-the-art Ross Tennis Center boasts six impeccably maintained Har-tru courts enclosed within a customized bubble from fall through spring. The courts are directly adjacent to the beautiful Upper School Fieldhouse where players can take advantage of exceptional amenities, including well-appointed locker rooms, a cafe, two satellite-fed flat screen televisions, WiFi, and a lounge/rec room featuring two Ping-Pong tables, board games, study areas and a large screen entertainment system. Students in the Academy also enjoy the rest of Ross School’s stunning 100-acre campus and facilities, including the acclaimed Ross Cafe, which serves healthy meals freshly made from regional, organic, seasonal and sustainable ingredients.
Unlike other tennis academies, RSTA is a small, intimate program that allows student-athletes to develop lasting relationships with coaches while receiving personalized instruction. Students who attend the Academy experience high performance tennis training while studying alongside their peers in a stimulating college preparatory learning community following a regular academic year. In addition, RSTA offers a college placement program with a focus on obtaining college scholarships. Summer and academic year programs are available for both day and boarding students.
The Academy has graciously donated a five-week summer term for an Eastern junior to attend. To apply for a scholarship through USTA Eastern, pleae visit our camp scholarship page.
