Recreational On-Court Training

Greater Elmira Tennis Association

The USTA offers two unique types of trainings: Recreational Coach Workshops and Recreational QuickStart Tennis Workshops. Our expert trainers will make the experience everything you were looking for. Whichever workshop you choose, our staff will ensure an exceptional experience that only the USTA can provide.

The comparison chart below will help you determine whether a Recreational Coach Workshop or a Recreational QuickStart Tennis Workshop best suits the needs of your facility and your participants.

A specially trained and certified national trainer will conduct either workshop.  Why is this important?  Because our trainers are all PTR and/or USPTA certified and receive special intensive training from the USTA.  They will make sure that you and your participants have an incredible workshop experience all at no cost to you.

Your Eastern section trainers are Chuck Russell, Joe Arias, Larry Dillon, Jack Curry, Michelle Skelley, Bill Mountford, Lou Reid, Naveen Singh and Doug Sherman.

Anyone can easily host a workshop by choosing the proper workshop, following the organizer requirements and checklist and submitting an online application.
