USTA Eastern junior tournament levels have been designed to allow each player to meet competition at his/her own ability level.

Point Penalty Suspension Systems - Please note the concurrent tournament rules.
Concurrent Tournament Rule:
Eastern-
No player may enter more than one Eastern sanctioned tennis (singles or doubles) tournament where the scheduled dates overlap unless the officially announced tournament starting dates are at least three days apart. Players in violation of this rule will be defaulted from all of the tournaments entered and will be subject to two (2) default suspension points. Note: First time offenders will be given courtesy of a warning, but only if they are a first time violator. The courtesy will allow them play in one of the two tournaments however they will be subject to the 2 suspension points. Read more.

Endorsement Information - A player seeks endorsement by playing (1) one or (2) two, depending on the National, out of the (4) four L1 Eastern Designated Closed Championships just preceding the USTA National Championships in the age division they wish to be endorsed.
