Learn To Play
QuickStart Tennis
i
s an exciting new play format for learning tennis, designed to bring kids into the game by utilizing specialized equipment, shorter court dimensions and modified scoring, all tailored to age and size.

As a parent, the best way to learn the basics of coaching is through a 6-hour, on-court
Recreational Coach Workshop
(RCW). This workshop is designed for coaches that are working with people who are new or at the developmental stages. Many active and fun on-court skills, drills, and games are covered in this workshop, with an emphasis on team management. These workshops also revolve around the use of modified equipment. Learning to play with smaller racquets and large foam balls may help to set your children on the right path.
An RCW is beneficial whether you’re are going to be coaching a
junior tennis team
or helping your child connect on their first rally. Other alternatives for helping your child learn to play tennis can be getting them tied in with a local
Community Tennis Association
(CTA) or
National Junior Tennis League
(NJTL) chapter.
