10 and Under Tennis is an exciting new play format that follows the same logic as other youth sports like baseball or soccer: kid-sized courts and kid-sized equipment make it easier for children to be successful. New rules have been passed by the International Tennis Federation (ITF) and the USTA that require all sanctioned 10-and-under tournaments be played using slower-moving and lower-bouncing balls, shorter and lighter racquets, and on smaller courts.
These changes make it easier for more kids to get in the game and, by making tennis more fun from the start, to stay in the game as well. 10U Tennis is an excellent development program. Because of the specs, kids are able to learn higher level techniques and strategies at an early age, helping them to become more sophisticated players.
